Karen your story sounds so much like me, but I am one that yasmin has been a Godsend for so far. I had not been able to tolerate any BCP before. I am on a very low dose of Spiro too, a dermatologist put me on way to high a dose in the past and I assumed I couldn't tolerate it either. I was consumed by my hair loss!! I have PCOS and knew that was an effect it had, but I had not had hair loss before. I am 39 and thought initially it was an age thing. Anyway to make a long story short, the combination of Yasmin and Spiro began to take effect in the 3rd month. My hair is thicker, it has virtually stopped falling out, and I feel very good. I hope you do well off the BCP and your other worries are lessened soon!! I just wanted to say for me, the Yasmin did live up to it's promise. I just had to stick with it long enough for it to take effect. good luck to you and everyone that is suffering hair loss.
