For anybody who's interested..... Things seem to have settled down. The spotting & bleeding stopped, none at all during the entire pill cycle, period started 2 days after taking the last pill. Quite a lot of improvement from my usual periods (endometriosis & adenomyosis) - I only had the REALLY REALLY bad cramps for the first day instead of first 4 days like before, & moderate cramps for about 3 days more. Period was only 6 days instead of 8 or 9, & MUCH less blood loss.....maybe I can get my iron up finally?? Hair, I thought at first it was shedding more but it doesn't seem any thinner. Shed seems about the same now. No regrowth that I can see. Anyone know when the facial hair is supposed to decrease? Still plucking those black bristly hairs from my chin & mustache. The skin above my upper lip appears as if it has darkened slightly.....possibly melasma or chloasma? I had heard that was caused by vitamine B deficiency from the pill, not the hormones, but I'm taking vitamines, so maybe it is the hormones after all. I've never had that before from any other pill or from pregnancy. The first 2 months the Diane was causing acne (thought it was supposed to cure?) which I've never had before. Haven't had any so far this month (started new pack 3 days ago.) The improvements in the period pain, amount, & length seem worth it, as long as I don't lose any hair. Also had a 5-7 lb weight gain. --Gabrielle
