Susan, nice to hear from you, and yes, my shedding is still down. Yippee! Today there were about 10 strands in the shower and another five in styling. I can't even fathom this, but hey, I am not going to question it too much.
I did start out with a lot of hair, that is true. As to regrowth, too soon to tell. I do have tiny hairs along my hairline and the pricklies when I run my hand over my scalp, but I will sure let you know when I start to hopefully "thicken" up.
That's great news about your hair too. And the growth, yippee to you! Please, keep me updated on your protocol. It's important that we share all of ours.
Missy responded to the spironolactone/Aldactone, but I guess not as much as I did in the beginning. Who knows? Hopefully though the Proscar will help her too. I know we both were seriously thinking about trying androcur if the Proscar didn't kick in.
Susan, you haven't noticed any weight gain, have you? I read that as one of the side-effects and I think there is an increase in progesterone-type activity such as PMS, Acne. Am I wrong? I haven't read it in a while. You say no side effects, so that's great too.
As to leaving the forums, I didn't when the spiro kicked in and I will continue to hopefully help out newcomers if I can. I know my struggle is not over. It's a lifetime battle I think, but I won't give up and I hope others don't either.

Thanks for the compliment about the "researcher." The only part of that that I am is a good "searcher on the internet," and then not that good. Also I like to read a lot about this subject. I wonder why? ;-) But thanks for your compliment. It mad me smile.
