Hi Olga - I think your post was meant for me. First of all, look up Androcur and/or cyproterone acetate (Androcur is cyproterone acetate) on the internet to get all of the information that you can. If I remember you correctly, you are post-menopausal and you haven't used Minoxidil in a couple of years. You need to get on 2% Minoxidil right away. Use it at night only if your scalp is sensitive to it. The longer those follicles have no treatment the sooner they may die. Get your Minoxidil at Walmart (their Equate brand) - it's cheapest. You can order Androcur at anagen.net and it takes about 2 weeks to 17 days to arrive at your house. Read the package insert carefully and remember that this is a dangerous drug at high doses (100 mg per day or more). Start at 50 mg (one tablet) per day. Take note of the way you feel at 50 mg and drop it to 25 mg (1/2 tablet) if you feel overly fatigued or experience any other symptoms listed in the package insert. If your skin should turn yellow (which at such a low dose is a minimal risk) you must get to an emergency room immediately. I am not a doctor - just a desperate hairloss sufferer. I'm seeing my PCP this week and will insist he order the blood tests in the Androcur insert. Please research the product on the net before you order. There are contraindications that may apply to you. Best wishes and take your supplements.
