Aldactone and the tyroid - does it cause tummor?

Hi, my name is Laura. I have been on Aldactone for a condition called CAH, it deals with my adrenal glands. I was on aldactone when I was younger (for about three or four years) for acne and facial hair. It did help. Then I went off the drug for a couple of years and my skin is breaking out and have had increased facial hair again. The thing is this, I have started to research the drug a little (because doctors seem to be of no help). About three months ago there were two tummors found in my thyroid gland. It is said Aldactone has caused tummors in lab rats. I believe the tummors I have are non cancerous, but I don't really know for sure because all that has been done has been ultra sounds. So I'm back on Aldactone because of my skin, but have two tummors now. If anyone wants to talk, our has any suggestions please e-mail me at Killian9677@aol.com.
