Your are an absolute goldmine of information and I can't thank you enough for taking the time to answer my questions. I have taken a printout of your last post and will be taking it to my next appointment with derm. Previously I have only seen male derms who don't seem to comprehend how devastating this condition is for a woman so I have found a new female derm who hopefully will take my condition a little more seriously. I realise hair loss is terrible for men too but at least they can walk down the street with a bald head without being stared at and quite often it looks good.....not so for women.
I am seriously considering getting a wig as long as I can find one that looks natural. Have you ever worn one and if so what do you think of them....pros and cons please?
I don't know if Free Androgen and Free Testosterone are the same but I will ask Dr when I see her.
