I've been taking aldactone/spironolactone for the past 5 years for acne and it has worked wonderfully. In the past dermatologists had tried many other treatments including antibiotics, valium, 2 courses of accutane, etc. Nothing else worked but the spironolactone has made my skin incredibly clear.
