Vitamin A is only bad in excess....

I just wanted to reply to you because Vitamin A is not toxic...it is only toxic if taken in excessive amounts. The problem is that we all just happened to like one the side effects of the excess vitamin A we were taking. We loved the way it shrunk our oil glands so we no longer got zits. We didn't like the loss of hair, digestion problems, dry lips, loss of vision (I just had to get glasses today, because my vision never got better!!!) and I truely regret taking this poison. But, I don't hate vitamin A, I just hate the fact I took so much of it. Your body actually needs it for hair and if you are Vitamin A deficient you will lose it as well. Many vitamins are toxic if taken in excess, especially fat soluable ones (vitamins that are stored in fatty tissues, vitamin A and D are examples.) because they are stored and your body doesn't know when to stop.

how about everyone just takes things in moderation!!! Everything seems to be ok if we all just stick to not doing it in excess.

Singulair has caused excessive hair loss. I made myself a crash test dummy after doctors refused to agree with my suspicions. Take it from one who knows....it causes major hair loss...even though the manufacturer won't admit it. See my earlier posts. Donna
