Just a word of caution but Im not sure if it still applies or not. Back in the day when I got my cut-in from Richard on tour, he advised me not to leave it on too long as it will help the knots slip. Now Jerry said that they spray something on the lace to help protect the knots. So anyway just to be safe, try not to get the conditioner on the lace and use it sparingly. Make sure it's wrapped pretty tight, you are leaving the conditioner on for 6-8 hours and the hair should still be dampish when you take it out of the wrap.

I only do it when needed(but I use soooo many other damn products so maybe i dont need to use it that often) I would say once a rotation(every two weeks) or once a week(kinda hard if you are wanting to do the one on your head though.
