I saw Jim's pics too, not sure if they were the same ones you looked at. I didnt think it was a bad system at all, it didnt have Farrell traits(I noted the density). However, Farrell will give you anything you desire so density shouldnt be an issue.

As far as the base, I really couldnt tell since the density of the hair wouldnt allow you to see the scalp but the different color you noted could have been from the light travelling through the hair and not the color of the base.

In all fairness his photographer was pretty shitty. Two of the pics looked like he has brown hair and one showed black hair, so any color difference you see may be because of the photgrapher and not the way his sytem was manufactured(example would be Tony's pics, the two cowlicks.. one with orangey tint, one without)

Im'm not saying that he has too much density, it works well for him and the type of hair he has. I thought it was a pretty spiffy system. However I am in no league with the other keen eyes to make a comparison of his system against a FHR, HCM, Apollo, etc. system. The only thing I could note different was the density.
