I have been pondering the idea of a period kinda workout, instead of my normal routine. Are the gains much more steady when you lift hard one week and lift light the next week, do you go right back to heavy the thiord week or moderate? Also on the sixth week when you rest do you do any cardio like running or just completely rest. I understand that excessive running can lead to muscle wasting in a strength routine, but there are so many numerous health reasons to add cardio to your life.
