Anyone want to help discuss scientific articles in a private forum?

I got little response the first time, so I am going to repost this...

I am trying to get at least seven or eight scientifically minded people to discuss articles on a biweekly basis. My proposition is to set up a private forum, where one of us posts an article and criticizes it. Then the rest of us (scientific minds) will jump in and agree or disagree on points. The reason I want it to be people with a science background (preferably in biology) is because they will have a much better handle on the subject matter. Obviously there are going to be those w/o a science background who have picked up on so much while studying hairloss, that they'll be able to participate as well.

Why do this? Simply because I believe that there are some very bright minds at this site. Unfortunately, we sometimes get sidetracked into misperceptions due to lack of background in a specific area of biology, or even on a specific point. That's where the rest of us jump in.

Understand that I don't want this to turn in to a flame war (not that it would with the caliber of people participating), and I definitely don't want it to turn into an ego contest (which might happen with the caliber of people we have ;)

Anyone interested, post here or send me a private message using the members messaging system on this site. Obviously, this would not get started until well after the New Year's.

Suggestions? Is this a bad idea, or a good one? Thanks!
