Hi Jean!

Nice to see you again! Jumping in for a sec. ... I started Rogaine about 4 months ago because I felt I didn't have much more to lose after over a year of shedding with regrowth that has not kept up. My sedding ranged from 80 on a good day to 140+ on a bad day. After about 3 months, my shedding started to decrease and now I loose between 25 and 50. So I do believe it has helped wit my shedding though I don't notice much more regrowth:( I have also started Yasmin. My androgens are slightly elevated and my DHEA-S and Androstenedione are a little high. If after three months, things don't look much better, I will probabably do a trial of spironolactone.

*On a side note: I did not have the "dread-shead" so many women experience, but I have also not had the regrowth; So maybe they go hand in hand. Seems like those that have the shed, see the regrowth around month 3 or 4. So in my opinion, you really don't have much to lose.*
