I'm 35 and began quartering proscars and taking one a day six months ago, along with Minoxidil 5%. After 2.5 to 3 months I found that my hair loss had completely stopped and considerable peach fuzz was growing in at my temples and widow's peak area. I stopped the minoxidil while continuing the proscar, but now, 3 months later, my hair is again falling out, seemingly faster than before. I'm wondering was the minoxidil that important, or has the proscar just stopped working? I read online that the proscar may contain inconsistent doses within its 5mg pill, so quartering it may leave one piece that's innocuous, the other too strong, and so on. Anyone know anything about this?
