Bletch, I didn't know if you saw my earlier message to you (since the format is a little funny) but I copied and pasted here for you:

Hi there, I just read your posts in the other forum about your dad. I am so sorry to hear it. This must be a rough time for you. Many people offer to help. They say, "let me know if there's anything I can do", but that doesn't really cut it sometimes. How does one know what's ok to ask? What I can offer is if you need to talk to someone like me who understands because I have too lost loved ones due to cancer, I am there for you. Do you know what type he has and what treatments they will consider? My beloved friend Mindi had it in her brain and underwent rounds of chemo. She managed to live for years beyond what the doctors hoped for her. Pants was right when he says that there are some dietary things that may help. Thorin may have some good information for you too since he is a survivor. He has just recently started posting in Dutasteride.
