Fellas, we don't even know that dutasteride was the answer to our prayers, remember, Rogaine and propecia were also suposed to be the answer. So don't be too upset.

Also, does anyone know if finesteride and rogaine can work synergisticly? I was using Propecia/Proscar for almost two years. I saw some improvement over the first 4-5 months then it started to fail. I continued to use the proscar that I had been on, then added topical Minoxidil. I've had pretty good results. My hiar got thicker all over and I gained some ground in the frontal area. But, I want to get off the Finesteride. I don't like the idea of taking medication that affects my sex drive and my prostate. Who knows what the long term affects of that are? So my question is, will I lose any ground if I go off the finesteride and just keep using the topical Minoxidil? Any opinions?

And, has anyone tried that hairloss booklet that was mentioned a couple postings ago?
