I need some assistancein determining the best way to use this stuff. It has considerable potential but I suspect I am using it in an innfective way. You seem to know a lot and I'm hoping to get some advice.

I decided to use short term oral flutamide and finasteride as I hoped it would give me a great push to start my RU58841. The standard dose for oral flutamide in prostate cancer patients is 750 mgs daily and I began using that much (750 mgs of oral flutamide daily) and also 1.25 mgs oral proscar on August 11, 2001. On August 15 or 17 I then added 2 daily high doses of topical RU to the treatment on. I was doing this for 2 weeks and then got off the oral flutamide and finasteride. Just before I stopped the oral flutamide and oral finasteride (after 2 weeks) I saw hairs coming in, and I mean all my hair (the new hair coming in wasn't brown like the hair I already had, it was blonde, but it was coming in) that was missing was coming in. I am talking about a ton of hair coming in. Every last strand. But as I indicated I then began using only the topical RU58841 and I dumped the oral flutamide and oral finasteride. Improvement was slowing down a lot, and I even began fastly losing some of the new hair I had rapidly grown while on the combo treatment those 2 weeks. I think I got those gains sooner than I was supposed to so RU58841 alone couldn't protect them. Still, I kept using the RU58841 alone for a month, but I got sick of the minor positive changes I was seeing so in early October I got back on oral flutamide and proscar in combo with my topical RU58841. This time the combo treatment was not quite as fast as the first time I used the combo treatment, but the combo treatment was moving a lot faster than the RU58841 alone. After a month I had *somewhat* more progress than I had the first time I used the combination even though the first time I was on the combo treatment only 2 weeks, and the second time it took a month to get just *somewhat* more progress than the first time I used the combo treatment. And this time I was *starting* to experience side effects from the oral antiandrogens because this time I was on the oral antiandrogens a month. I quickly got off the oral antiandrogens, and I was using the topical RU58841 all by itself and lo and behold, the RU58841 alone was not losing the new hair nearly as fast this second time after I got off the combo treatment as it did the first time. As a matter of fact, it took about a month of RU58841 by itself to notice any of the new hair being lost whereas when I got off the combo treatment the first time and was only using the RU treatment I began losing new hair fastly in days or a week. The first time the new hair never got past blonde but the secont time the new hair got to be a light brown. It was between blonde and my natural color. BTW the second time on the combo treatment it seemed to take about 3 weeks to get to the point that I had gotten to at 2 weeks the first time on the combo treatment. After about a month off the combo treatment and on RU58841 alone I began seeing minor losses. The new hair was trying to fall out. I had only lost a few but I panicked on got back on the combo treatment and this time I am in no way seeing the super fast results I saw the first time or even the pretty fast results I saw the second time.

I'm thinking that with all of this switching around I have messed up my androgen system in some way and I am making this more difficult on myself.

If I get off all treatments how long will it take for my receptors and and androgen levels to return to normal? I'm thinking I should pick one strategy and start over and stick to that strategy. I can assure you that RU58841 grows hair. I can tell by the things that are happening on my head. But I would naturally be at late stage 4 or early stage 5 and I am at stage 2 right now. But I am losing a couple hairs even on the combo treatment so I don't know what to think.
