Oh yeah, I too think that there are worse things than my hairloss- I have experienced worse in fact. But I also think we shouldn't compare which pains are worse. What hurts us, hurts us. I used to get so offended that my ex constantly told me "I didn't know pain like he knew pain" The rest of the world's ills were trivial to him and he couldn't look past his own sufferings. I'm grateful that I don't have a life-threatening disease. I'm lucky in many ways and have a rather wonderful life with a great boyfriend and the ability to go to school just because I wanted to. But I still want my danged hair back and it still bothers me immmensely--in short, it hurts.

Thorin, It is so good to see you back because it means that you really fought and I hope you never go through that sh-t again. I lost a friend to cancer and miss her tremendously. But your survival is a wonderful victory.

RSanders, can you please tell science to hurry up? Thanks for the message of hope. take care, Jean
