I know that it is really hard to accept hairloss on any level, but I think that it matter far more upsetting to the person losing it than the people around them might think.
My fella started losing his hair at 25 (started dating when he was 23). Never for a split second did it bother me, I worried a lot more about it impacting his esteem. Mostly because he teaches at risk kids, and kids can be shits RE preceived insecurities.
He is a totally cute guy. I am 100% attracted to him. He is 30 now, and girls still check him out. I imagine he will have to shave his head before 35. I joke that he can grow a bead to balance out the look, maybe he will finally stop getting carded.
He has never taken any drug or tried Rogaine or anything. I actually found this site looking for info on iron & shedding. I became a vegan and about 6 months ago had a huge shed that freaked me out. Turns out my body has no stored iron and I am anemic.
I dunno- I really don't thing girls care about hair as much as you all might think. We are too busy worrying about our own insecurities. When I was in HS I had a crush on a guy who was almost totally bald up top.
It just makes me so sad to hear/read some of this. I just hate to think about people halting their lives and dreams due to something that they have so little control over.
My boss is bald. And even if he had a full head of hair, he is not attractive. But damn, he is charismatic as all get out. And has a cutie wife 10 years his junior and an amazingly competitive job.
