>>>Dear Maneless Pharmaceuticals:>>>
>>>>No one is allowed to parouse your books, but we have a pretty good idea that your company is and has been rolling in cash for years as is evident by the premiums that your blue chip share holders have been collecting.>>>
Yea, we're allowed to make money. So what.
>>>500 mil would be a rain drop in an ocean of profits>>>
We have drugs in the pipeline all the time. Each one of those drugs costs us 500 million dollars to bring to market. Right now we have 12 drugs in development and each is going to cost us 500 million dollars by the time we get it to market. print our own money. Six billion dollars is a lot of money and we simply do not have a never ending supply of money. We can only bring the arthritis drug to market or the baldness drug to market because given that we are spending so much money right now on those 12 other drugs that are working their ways through the pipleline we only have enough money to begin one new drug at this time. Also, we have almost all of our scientists and machinery and material on those 12 other drugs, and we only have enough scientists, machinery, and material for one other drug right now. Given that bald guys are not suffering any damage to their lives and arthritis patients are suffering damage to their lives we are going to bring the arthritis drug to market. We know we can make profits off either drug so we are not going to lose either way, but if we bring the arthritis drug to market we will see lots of nice stories about us in the press. We like that, and since bald guys aren't really suffering any real damage to their lives there is no reason to get them their hair back.
>>>your company has reaped over the years from diet pills that don't work and even kill people with weakened hearts from obesity to the cancer patients who can't be prescribed anything stronger than your Tylenol III's or your latest knock off of aspirin with codein as a result of the collective lobbying against natures best pain killers like heroin here in North America.>>>
Only in America! You gotta love this country.
>>>We don't believe you have anyones ineterest at heart but your bottom line and excessive profits on the backs of the sick, dying, and elderly.>>>
That's sort of true, but we do like to read nice stories about ourselves in the press and that happens when we cure diseases that people need cures for. Bald guys don't need cures so we aren't going to cure baldness. We are going to cure arthritis instead. You proved to us that bald guys do not need their hair. Also, it is in our best interests to have as much good press as possible as bad press results in people getting mad at us and when they get mad they buy less of our products and we make less money. Therefore if we want the best profits we need to produce medicines for the people who need them. Yes, we get some bad press anyway, but of course we try to get good press too so the good press can reverse some of the public image problems we suffer from the bad press. It's a PR game. We try to do the best we can for people plus we try to make profits. It's a complicated scale but we do the best we can. Given that bald guys do not need hair and arthritis patients need a cure for their arthritis we will cure arthritis instead of hairloss so we can get some good press. We were going to cure hairloss but you proved to us that bald guys don't need hair.
>>>Id we had a government with balls we could easily nationalize you or start up a publicly run research institute paying the industry average or better and run you out of business altogether and put some real money into r&d'ing drugs others than just another version of aspirin or warfarin/rat poison for heart patients. You poeple shoudl be had up for crimes against humanity for continuing to sell Thalidamide to uneducated third world women.>>>
Yea, yea, yea. What does any of this have to do with hair? Yea, yea, yea, we don't like unions we like profits and we like golden parachuttes and we like bonuses for us guys at the top. Yea, yea, yea, it's all true, but we were going to cure hairloss until you proved to us that bald guys don't need hair. That's the point. You have gotten yourself all turned around and you have gotten off the subject and gotten into corporate profits and whether or not we drug companies have the right to exist or if the government should take us over and whether or not we pay our employees fairly. But none of this has anything to do with hair. The point is that we were going to cure hairloss but you proved to us that bald guys do not need hair. This has absolutely nothing to do with employee wages, my greed, or thalidomide. Try to stay on the subject son.
>>>We don't really expect you'll put any money into hairloss research,>>>
You're becoming irrational. Quite frankly, some companies do put money into hairloss research so of course it would've been possible for us to do so too, but you proved that bald men do not need hair.
>>>let alone an arthritis drug>>>
Lots of companies are trying to cure arthritis and we are too. We have 12 drugs in the pipeline right now because that is what we do. We produce drugs and sell them. To hear you tell it drug companies do not really bring drugs to market. you make it sound like some grand conspiracy whereupon we drug companies are pretending we have drugs. The proscar bald guys take was brought to market by a drug company. The minoxidil bald guys apply to their heads was brought to market by a drug company.
>>>any different than aspirin, which was discovered thousands of years ago by native people and rediscovered decades ago by individual research efforts, no thanks to your mega billions.>>>
That's one drug. What about all the other drugs we have brought to market????? You are getting very irrational and you are acting as though we drug companies have not brought any original medicine to market.
>>>You're company gets millions in tax breaks from the tax payers every year, and you hand them over to share holders while lying about doing real research and developing new drugs.>>>
Right, who told you this? Oliver Stone. Look we have brought a lot of drugs to market. drug companies have brought many many drugs to market. You grab ahold of the asprin situation and pretend that asprin is the only drug every brought to market. What about proscar? What about minoxidil?
>>>Token efforts don't count and some starving bio-chemistry students the world over need scholarships right now. They are your talent pool and the future of medical research. Help them ... please.
We already have all the scientists we can afford to support. We are going to use them to cure arthritis.
>>>Rich people don't need hair, because they've been buying love for centuries, we know. Money buys anything in this world, even votes in congress and senators. MPB will always be a mystery as long as we rely on tight fisted pharmaceuticals who tell us how expensive it is to do real research. Perhaps we should give our tax payer subsidies and incentives to companies that DO do real r&d and cut you ba$tards off at the tit.>>>
Perhaps, but it aint going to happen.
>>>Who needs you fat ba$tards anyway ?. Not us.>>>
I know you don't need us, after all, the only thing we could've done for you at this time is cure hairloss but we decided against it when you proved to us that bald guys do not need hair.
>>>Fed up with big name drugs and their promises for cures while getting richer and fatter.>>>
We are going to make a lot of money helping arthritis patients who need our help. Perhaps you should buy some of our stock and you could make some profit off the stock when we bring the arthritis drug to market.
>>>WBBSG>>>
Sincerely,
maneless pharmaceuticals
