Hair Club is overpriced in my opinion. I went there a couple months ago to get some information from them. They offered $999.00 "special" to me for their starter system. Of course they call it a "biomatrix" not a starter system so you have to be careful. The starter system doesn't actually look as bad as a lot of people make it sound. In fact the only thing that turned me off of it was the hairline. You simply can't expose it or people will know it's not your own hair. I saw one of their clients with it on up close and asked him to expose his hairline for me. I suggest you call hair club right away and make SURE you are not getting their starter system. Paying as much as you did you should EXPECT the bio2. If they don't know what you're talking about then insist on speaking with someone who can tell you about their different systems. Since you're on a plan you should be able to get the bio2.. insist on it! But just for your information if you plan on having a hairstyle which doesn't expose your hairline then I think the starter system would be fine. The thing is you could get a hair piece of the same quality or even much higher for just a couple hundred dollars off the internet or a smaller local hair replacement place in your area which is why I say now that you've paid all that money insist on getting a bio2. I sympathize with your financial situation as I don't make much money either so I really try to research my best options before spending the amount of money most hair replacement places charge. Hair club is one of the most expensive options. Maybe I just don't like the idea of committing 200 bucks a month. I'd rather see how long I can make a system last before it needs replacing. I think most people go to them just because they advertise so much and it's the first place people think to go.. Look in the phone book for hair replacement hopefully there are some smaller places near you which you can go to and see what they have to offer. Shop around before you spend your hard earned money. I don't wear a hair system yet. I've placed an order with a small hair replacement place near me and I'm just waiting for the unit to arrive.. it cost me 800.00 Canadian in total after taxes etc.. for a lace front system.. since I'm new to this stuff myself I'm not sure how much I'll actually like it once it's on my head but I'd rather spend 800.00 for a nice lace front system one time to see how I like it than paying 2500 to hair club for an entire year. Hair club can achieve some good results but I'd shop around before laying that kind of cash down.
