white glue

I could use some help. I recently ordered the white glue (they called it Metaflex over the phone) from Farrell thru the mail and it just arrived. It came in a plain, unmarked container with no instructions. Did they send me the right stuff? Also, I'm a little mechanically challenged and I don't know exactly how to apply the glue. Are you supposed to use the applicator tip and kind of smear the glue with the tip?
