James, Are you sure you don't want to wait until the system is a little older before thinning out the hairline. It will tend to lose some hair over time anyway. Also, unless you are an experienced hairstylist who works with hairpieces, I would suggest you let the stylist at your hair replacement company do the thinning. Your hairpiece lacks polyurethane around the perimeter and is more difficult to attach tape to, so glue may be easier. It was designed to be worn for full head bonding. You might want to get your next piece with the poly in the back and sides.
