Jay, the answer to your question is that we just don't know that much about BioAmide's process at this point. The point being, we don't know whether BioAmide is regenerating dormant (miniaturized) follicles, or creating new follicles.

However, I will attempt to answer your question based on common sense and the scientific knowledge I have. I think it's much more likely that BioAmide is regenerating miniaturized follicles in the scalp, just like we know Unger is doing (by his own admission) and we suppose Gho is doing (from all available evidence except his own somewhat cryptic statements which in my estimation are designed more to obfuscate and deflect curiosity than to inform.)

I believe that the benefit of BioAmide's technique lies mainly in their ability to localize a high concentration -- or the required numbers -- of DHT-resistant DP cells. They do this using their bioabsorbable polymer which, when cells are being cultured, encourages those cells to grow in "clumps" -- i.e., stuck together. Further, it allows large numbers of cells to be inserted or injected into the desired site all at once, and keeps the cells together in that location, where they can successfully induce regeneration of the follicles.

Under this scenario, it would be difficult to create hairlines lower than the original hairline, and it would be very difficult if not impossible to achieve hair density greater than the person's original density. The reason for this is, if existing dormant follicles are simply being regenerated (as I suspect), you cannot achieve higher density of follicles than you already have. No new follicles are being created in the tissue between existing follicles. You are limited by the original number and density of follicles on the person's scalp.

If BioAmide is regenerating exsiting follicles, messing with the person's hairline would also be difficult and perhaps dangerous. Difficult because now, we're not talking about regenerating follicles miniaturized by AGA; we're talking about inducing tiny, vellus follicles which were never terminal follicles to begin with, to grow into large, terminal follicles. I think this might be a bit dangerous because I don't believe BioAmide's process has the ability to pinpoint these tiny vellus follicles (ones that were never terminal) and cause them to grow into terminal follicles, precisely enough to create a "neat" looking hairline. What you may see, instead, is a rough, raggedy-looking "hairline" significantly thinner and sparser than the original hairline and the terminalized regions of the formerly-bald scalp. Since it is probably much more difficult for them to terminalize vellus follicles which were never terminal to begin with, success rates would be much lower, and you wouldn't achieve the thickness and look you desire. Instead you may risk creating something which is very un-aesthetic.

Now, I could be wrong. Maybe BioAmide is indeed creating brand-new follicles. In which case your scenarios of achieving greater-than-original density, and a lower-than-original hairline, might be achievable. In this scenario, perhaps BioAmide's "clumps" of cells are not simply inducing miniaturized follicles to grow into terminal ones; perhaps they are acting as "pre-follicles", masses of cells which, when injected into the dermis, actually develop into a new follicle. In this case, your scenario of achieving a thicker look than what you had as a teen might be realized.

But I would caution you not to get your hopes up about this. I don't think BioAmide is creating brand new follicles. I considered that possibility earlier, but common sense and the sum total of what I know scientifically pretty much ruled that possibility out for now -- at least with BioAmide.

That's not to say that creating new follicles is impossible. On the contrary, I think it's very possible and this "tissue-engineering" approach is also coming soon. But I don't think it's coming from BioAmide. It may take a while longer to get here, and certainly will be much more expensive than HM or cell therapy, for awhile, because of the added costs of growing the follicles in the lab, and surgically implanting them into the scalp -- much more involved than simply culturing cells and injecting them.
