I remember someone asking this and answering it in Forum 50! As far as recall, and also makes logical sense that the hairline can be lowered! I mean why couldn't you implant the hair at the front of the head!
I was a bit miffed about the plug question, but someone said that it shouldn't be a problem!
Now that I think about it, like even if the polymer strip was 1-2mm long, there would be hundreds of little pores in the scaffold and dp cells would form in those pores. I think it is the size of the pores that the dp cells occupy that determine the hair location and not the size of the inserted polymer. That's my opinion anyway? If anyone got any other ideas or doubts! I would be happy to hear what they think.
