Why not do the simple little test that those guys didn't have enough sense to do in that study you posted? Namely, apply a little of the topical CPA to a small area of very oily skin, while leaving a similar symmetrical area untouched as a control. Then check later for two things: is the treated area noticeably less oily, and is the non-treated area still oily, or is it ALSO drier?

You could use the left and right sides of your forehead, which are pretty oily in most people; or you could even do like I've done, and use the left and right sides of your nose! Noses are always REALLY oily! ;-)

I'd be very interested to see how such a test turns out!
