I was on 1.25mg/day quartered Proscar for 4 years, had minor(major?)symptoms throughout(including social anxiety, occasional achy ball) but the s--- hit the fan in March this year when the achy ball wouldn't go away for like 4 days and I was even afraid for my life one night and on the verse of making an appointment with a urologist. So I stopped(that AND the Minoxydil I was in to help grow in a transplant I had a year before.

Anyway, a tech from the place I had my hair transplant last year said that the 5mg pills, when cut into 4, cannot guarantee equal distribution of the active ingredient, Finasteride, and thus that could be the problem(too much some days?). True? Or just bs from Merck to get me to buy the more espensive Propecia?

I was wondering because I'm thinking about getting my hands on those cheap 5mg Finasteride tablets from India from the site posted on this forum and basically taking the same doasge but less often, like every few or several days instead of each day(since someone else here said that that works) so that I can maintain the confidence of continued success of my expensive transplant procedure through DHT suppression without having to endure the side effects I had before, probably from too much fina too often?

Help, anyone?
