Yeah man great post.
Just because hair loss isn't deadly, and is generally (and unfortunately) something of a joke to a lot of people, combined with the fact some don't see it as a problem in their lives, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt for those who do.
It's still a painful issue for a lot of people, myself included, and even though I sympathise entirely with every poor soul with cancer or other terminal illness, I feel somewhat insulted by people such as 'cancer patient'. If you're unable to gauge the expressed anxiety and depression that is common to this forum then in my view you're a self-obsessed wanker.
Life sucks, and it sucks in different measures for different people. If someone moans about the weather or taxes or the government you don't say 'well it's OK for you, I've got cancer/baldness/ heamorroids etc.' do you?
Perspective is all well and good, but it's often a little too convenient for certain people.
