Estrogen increases from finasteride does indeed cause the sexual side effects that some experience. HOwever this estrogen does not limit finasterides hair growing properties but in fact add to its hair growth potential.
Arimidex is not an estroten blocker but an aromatase inhibitor. THere is a big difference. Aromatose inhibition is definitely the choice over estrogen blocking for reducing sexual side effects although I personally never experienced anything at all in terms of sexual side effects from propecia. and yes hair growth.
