First of all I have to say your lexicon is about as appropriate as your name EJ. Second, my reference is Protein Power (a book you obviously haven't read!)! If insolent pedants such as yourself spent more time reading truly, helpful information instead of corporate-funded studies maybe you wouldn't be on this site everyday, crying about how you're a norwood 6! Third, actually it is not laughable to say people who eat meat stand a better chance of not going bald. In fact, if you were intelligent enough to make the distinction between "RED MEAT" and the generalized term "MEAT" maybe you could get past your ingrained perception of all meat being red meat. I ,formally, apologize for not wasting another five minutes of my time explaining to you my view that red meat is bad and yet other meats are healthful!

EBJ: Wow, lets spend a little less time being an asshole. If you felt the culprit was red meat vs other types of meats, then you should have said so. It is not my fault that you did not, it is yours. I am NW2 by the way.

A suggestion: change your current perceptions and learn some empathy. I pity the fact it is too late for you to transcend you current ignorance, but don't ruin other people's chances to pursue happiness. Futhermore, judging by the frequency of your visits to this site I would have to conclude that even if you weren't so closeminded, changing your lifestyle would do little for your balding issues. It is too late once you have already succumb to onset of balding to do anything about it that wouldn't result in taking drugs or transplanting your pubs to your cranium. SORRY!

EBJ: So I take it that you are not actually balding since you are the master of all this great wisdom. And you are here because ...?

EBJ: And if it is too late to do anything about balding once onset has occurred using your wisdom, then coming to this forum where people who are already losing their hair serves the purpose of ... ?

oh and by the way I am sure you are familiar with that well known fact that prior to WWII MPB was UNHEARD OF in Japan; however, after the importation of beef to island suddenly and mysterious many more Japanese started to go bald. Coincidence....I think not.

EBJ: Balding was unheard of in Japan prior to WWII. I rather doubt that, athough I can see how the incidence and severity of balding have increased as dietary lifestyles have become more westernized. This has come up here before.
