>>Bryan has stated many times topicals especially fatty acids can be as good as Propecia and Dutasteride in DHT suppression. I have butted heads with him many times over this. That is a sandbag approach and will never work, like taping your garden hose after it has ruptured. Topicals in general are limited in what they can do unless one systematically "plugs" the onslaught of DHT with drugs like Finas and Dutas.....Period.<<
Yes, and I have REPEATEDLY asked you to justify your position on that, and all you do is repeat the above statement over and over!
If the above were true for humans, wouldn't you think it's probably also true for animals? How do you explain the fact that topical RU58841 is more effective for MPB in stumptailed macaques than finasteride? Why does topical RU58841 have castration-like effects on sebaceous glands in rats? Why do both topical RU58841 and topical gamma-linolenic acid acid also have castration-like effects on sebaceous glands in hamsters? Is it REALLY so difficult for you to believe that they might have similar effects in human scalps? How do you explain the similar increases in anagen hair percentages in HUMANS from both Propecia and topical 11a-hydroxyprogesterone, not to mention the fluridil study? How about the topical cyproterone acetate study in humans from 1998, which showed good results?
I'm willing to entertain your point-of-view, but first you have to actually SUPPORT your claims with some evidence! ;-)
