I agree, the 5-year results, where something around half the people simply dropped out shows that the majority didn't drop below baseline; but this I think is more a function of the time it takes to get there rather than there being an inherent "holding position" established by taking he meds; however, I HOPE that is the case. I think given time, the loss will occur since enough free DHT is present and most people are sensitive enough "follicely" to still have hair loss. I suspect the eventual ten-year study will show loss which exceeds the rates for senescent loss, which is a clear indication of hairloss. However, I hope this is not the case obviously.
