Thats a good question Schmoe. Its also part of the reason Dr. Monaham's lack of observational skills was so frustrating. It was clearly asked by one person if he regrew hair on shiny bald areas and he didn't have a cogent response. He did indicate that his crown regrew and then went forward towards his temples.
