Good Points! and I see where you are coming from; however, your uncle being accidently-castrated isn't really all that relevant to duta.

Calibus posted here a day or two ago that castrated males can still have up to 40% dht production. I don't have the studies to corroborate this claim but I can say I've read that castration will cause the adrenal glands to upregulate the amount of dht in the body. This proves that Avodart is a better solution to MPB than even Castration!

Yes, we should be catiously optimistic (sounds a little like compassionate conservatism doesn't it?) but I think finasteride is a damn good treatment and with all the evidence we have gathered about Avodart so far. I will be bold and say this treatment will kick some ass.
