Oh come on, Stephen, you're playing stupid word games!! You claim they are "contaminated", now I'm asking you what they are contaminated WITH!! ALL hair follicles are exposed to DHT! As usual, you're being evasive, because you have no answer to the 'in vitro' results.

It sure as hell DOES tell us something, and that's that scalp hair follicles are *sensitive* to androgens, but body hair is *dependent* on androgens.

Oh, for God's sake! Do you know how silly you sound?? So scalp hair follicles aren't *really* naturally sensitive to DHT, it's just that some mysterious process happens to them that eventually makes them that way?? Just what exactly could that be? Is it microwave energy that's being beamed at earth by space aliens, and it hits the top of our heads, or something? Why can't you just accept the overwhelming evidence that there are differences in the way certain hairs react to androgens, and stop concocting bizarre 'ad hoc' theories in a feeble attempt to explain it in a different way?
Seriously, you remind me of Ira Einhorn, the murderer who was recently extradited from France and is now in prison. About 20 years ago he killed his ex-girlfriend and stuffed her body into a trunk and locked it into a closet in his apartment. When she started smelling after a while, neighbors finally alerted the police and they came and arrested him. What was his explanation to them? Something to the effect: "My gosh, I have no idea how her body got in there!! It was probably the CIA that did it...they tried to railroad me!" I'm not kidding...he actually did try to blame the CIA! Such was his desperation to explain the OBVIOUS by some other convoluted method.
