You are Correct Bryan .5mg is 37% better than 5mg of finasteride and 2.5 mg is 50% according to the 6 month hair counts. Now, you say that you feel that it might stay the same and while I can't say that I agree you are definitely entitled to your opinion. However, the hair counts improved significantly for the "dense" responders in propecia trials for the entire 2 years as per the Merck website. So, If there are more "moderate" to "dense" responders in the dutasteride trial as per Dr. Marty Sawaya I think that it would be safe to say that for a larger number of hairloss patients the full results that be measured in 6 months and therefore it is possible that hair counts will continue to rise.
