>You are way off! Propecia is a pretty good treatment and yet it is classified as a poor performer. There are millions of people out there that have hair loss and still choose to do nothing! That is the problem and that is why Glaxo is canceling the Phase-III trails.

Great point. I sit with four guys in my aisle and I'm the only one who is using propecia. Nobody has even tried it and have no interest in using it. One guy tried Avocar and gave up after I educated him on this snakeoil. I tell them at the very least they can keep what they have, still no takers. So I sit there day by day being blinded by the reflections off their bald heads as their shiny areas get bigger.

>BTW, If all of us crazy motherfuckers take it and get great results I can bet they might restart it a year from now anyway. The thing is projections right now are ominous but everything is subject to change.

I'm sure if I start getting decent results, people might change their minds. Maintaining hair counts doesn't have as much a an impact as getting good regrowth. In other words maintaining a Norwood 3/4/5 is not anything to get excited about, so to many guy's why even bother?

>And about the side effects. That is bullshit too. I have been on propecia for over 3 months I haven't had any side effects. The people who come to these hair loss forums just tend to be hypochondriacs.

I take over 5mg Fincar/Propecia a day with no side effects, same with my brothers and friends. One guy at work has been having problems with his arm going numb and some other minor nuerological problems. Last week he believes he had a minor stroke(waiting for test results) it felt like a bolt of lightning shot up his back into his brain. The man is in his late 30's and having all these disorders. What do you think he would have attributed this all to if he starting taking Propecia last year!!!!He did think of starting up last year, glad he didn't or he might have blamed me.
